Pros
Pay is fair market value. Very flexible time off schedule. Small company. Easy work. Most, not all employees are friendly.
Cons
Calibration technicians eventhough paid hourly, are really commission based. In other words, depending on how many units you calibrate, you get paid for that time ONLY. If you have no work, and you still are onsite, you don't get paid for that down time.
Payroll Admin are incompetent. They give you more headaches than would be your supervisors and upper management. They have a system called Timetrack and causes all sorts of headaches for the techs out in the field.
Too much micromanaging. They have more managers than techncians, so if you are a tech, you will be pushed around a lot.
Expect to work on last minute notification. Just because you have 20 minutes left of work, doesn't mean that you'll be going home. They will TELL you, not ask you to work OT if deemed necessary.
Medical benefits are sub-standard, and expensive. They go through a broker in San Jose, to source the benefits. If you have questions about your benefits, they do not have answers.
