Thank you for taking this time to write this review and I am sorry to hear about the challenges you have been facing lately. At Intrepid, we are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and collaborative environment for all our employees so I am disappointed to hear about some of your experiences.
We value and consider all feedback and we’ll find ways to improve but I wanted to address a couple of your specific concerns here.
First, with new leadership, as you know the organization has been going through quite a bit of changes. Our CEO is working hard to make an effort to seek feedback and has been on the road travelling to meet each and every branch in hopes to connect on a personal level with as many of our employees as possible.
Second, we recognize the value of electronic payroll distribution and have started rolling out direct deposit. It is being implemented to each branch individually. Please be patient as we transition direct deposit to all 91 locations.
Third, I agree wholeheartedly on your comment about employee recognition. Lately, we’ve been putting more emphasis than ever on ways we can recognize performance and your feedback is the perfect reminder how much that recognition matters. Stay tuned.
And lastly, Intrepid is committed to continuously improving our leadership and management team. Human Resources is beginning to implement a new project to identify strengths and weaknesses of each member of the senior leadership team by conducting a 360° Performance Appraisal. The goal is to gather information about a person’s leadership skills from those who report to him/her, as well as, those who supervise him/her and other coworkers. Once the surveys have been completed, each leader will be asked to create a development plan for improving his/her leadership skills.
At Intrepid, we are working diligently to improve the employee experience, earn the trust of staff, and further foster integrity throughout the organization. We take every opportunity to learn from all feedback as we continue to improve the experience for all our employees. I really do appreciate your feedback and hope you do give us a chance to make it right.
