Pros

Introbiz is great for meeting and connecting with businesses in the local area. Being a member of staff could mean attending weekly networking events which can be a great opportunity.

Cons

Staff are undervalued, under appreciated and under paid (if at all paid). You will need to chase the manager to be paid on time. Treated unfairly no matter how much effort is put into your role. The management seem uneducated in their field especially for those who preach about social media and marketing. Preach what you sow. The atmosphere in the office is absolutely disgusting. You are not allowed to speak, it is often silent unless the management are arguing which makes everyone feel on edge. Although I can appreciate that this is a small business there is no union therefore any issues within the workplace are not welcomed. No illness or personal issue is taken seriously (after throwing up into a bin at the office I was told to open a window and get on with it).

Pros

- You gain experience by planning and attending networking events and create valuable connections with businesses/members around Cardiff. - The expo is good experience.

Cons

- Mis-leading interviews - No training - You may receive sales targets… when you are not in a sales role or receive unrealistic sales targets, in a sales role. - Poor salaries and not always paid on time. Expect to possibly remind your boss to pay you. - You may feel under-valued and taken advantage of. - Office atmosphere is suffocating. - Every morning, expect a long-winded pointless meeting that could’ve been 10 minutes at most. - Expect to do activities outside of your role such as making coffee 5 times a day, etc. - No union or HR for the company. So if you have an issue with management expect there to be no solution. - Due to the management being a married couple, expect tension and family drama to be brought into the office. - Bosses are unprofessional - Company has a high-turnover rate which tells you everything for a company that has less than 15 employees. - Lack of respect for employees (bosses have no consideration to your personal well-being, life outside of work, health, etc) - The company is too small for any progression.
