Pros

1. Good place to learn 2. Leave policy is lenient 3. Low/no office politics Note - if you are in the development team, I think it is still better. This review is based on Technical support engineer perspective.

Cons

1. Average salary is not as per the market standards 2. Growth in this company is stagnant 3. Unprofessional team lead 4. Only one person for support at night and the whole office will be empty 5. 12 hours of night shift without any incentives, not even food or free cab services are provided - in short alone as stated in point 4 and to top it you have 12 hours night shift. 6. No respect/value to employees 7. 90 days notice period (you will have to literally beg to even buy yourself out for serving 60 days notice out of 90 which they sate in their policy) - end result serve 90 days 8. Hike is very very low - long term prospective is big NO 9. No matter how diligent you are at work there will be no appreciation and make one mistake face the humiliation! 10. And there is a blackhole out here where pending task will just go in loops and the one getting blamed for delayed work is the junior support engineer who held/hold the ticket - Marvellous 11. Location of the company is pathetic- imagine going to a remote location for 12 hours night shift by your own convenience 12. 12 hours night shift guy will have no tissue papers in toilet since it gets over during the day so no refill and it happens often. It may seem like no big deal but I am just stating how the companies management is! 13. No milk for tea and coffee usually on national holidays but there has to be a support engineer present - refer point 6

Dear Poster, We regret your experience at our company. We would like to highlight our HR policies with regard to some of the issues raised by you in your review. 1. Salary: We conduct an annual research on salaries ranges in our industry and offer a much better package than the industry average. We assume you joined our company as you found the salary competitive and perhaps better than other offers you may have had at the time. 2. Annual Appraisal: We have a bi-annual appraisal cycle and also mid-term reviews for exceptional employees. Hike and growth are based on annual performance appraisals and the average increments are matched with industry standards. Top performers can expect double-digit percentage increments, while non-performers may not receive any. The rating is provided by peers and department heads. 3. The 12-hour night shift & safety concerns: Our office is located in NOIDA and adjacent to the Noida Special Economic Zone (NSEZ). As such the area is considered safe and we are housed in our own gated building with 24x7 security personnel and surveillance. The company also provides upon request, retiring rooms within the premises for night shift employees to rest in the event they do not wish to travel home after/before their shift. All employees, are expected to work for an average of 176 hours per month (22 working days x 8 hours per day). A duty roster determines shift timings and night shift needs ensuring no single employee is singled out. The extra hours of the night shift are compensated by giving extra off days. 4. 90 days notice: As noted by the poster, Inventum is a good place to learn, because we put in a lot of effort to train our staff and give them the experience that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. The 90-day notice policy is designed to attract candidates who are serious and committed to a career with Inventum. 5. The poster incorrectly mentions that the junior support engineer is held responsible for delayed work. The engineer is only held accountable for not following the process -- which is updating tickets and escalating in a timely manner. 6. The implication that tea/coffee is not available on all on national holidays is also incorrect. The cafeteria has self-service coffee machines and tea bags available at all times. Subsidised meals are provided on a prior opt-in basis as are packaged snacks. Employees can reach HR at any time to request additional facilities as required. Regards.
