Pros

In my time at IMS, I have progressed both my personal and professional development at an incredible pace, starting initially in an individual contributor role and then having the opportunity to move into leadership. From a product standpoint, IMS has advanced into a new market that is just beginning to adopt technology. We are the superior platform within an increasingly competitive market, and we do an incredible job of outpacing competitors in regards to both our product and go to market strategy. In regards to culture, IMS takes a “people first” approach. We count our employees as our most valuable asset which allows us to recruit and retain top talent. The benefits of this people first mentality also flows through to the customer level- top level developers are advancing the capability and value of our product faster than anyone else in the market, our marketing team raises awareness of this, our sales professionals take a consultative approach in understanding our prospect’s business drivers and needs, and our customer success team ensures adoption of the product so clients receive full value. The way in which our different teams integrate and work with one another creates a best in class experience for the customer. One of the biggest factors in making all of this possible is the executive team that IMS has put into place. We combine executives that are experts in building and scaling software companies with industry experts that understand our customer’s needs and prioritize this viewpoint when determining the direction in which we develop our product. Our executives emphasizes transparency and provide employees with a full understanding of the health and direction of our business.

Cons

The only cons that can be addressed are of a subjective nature. IMS moves at a rapid pace. We are quick to recognize our mistakes and areas of opportunity. We fail fast and pivot faster and this mentality is not a fit for everyone. The people I have seen be most successful here are self starters and do not require constant direction from leadership to excel. Others that require substantial structure and direction do not perform at as high of a level.

Pros

Incredibly smart and technical people that have a passion for FinTech and CRE. This place will breed you into a lethal salesperson if you put in the work and learn the industry. The leadership is incredible, with the CEO , and CRO working in the offices right next to the sales floor. You can really tell they are investing in you personally and professionally. Also, the compensation is very appealing.

Cons

his is a startup, so do your own due diligence and make sure you can handle it. The leadership usually does a great job of weeding out these people out early in the interview process.

Pros

I would say that from the beginning, I have seen IMS is willing to invest in it's employees, which coming from a background of being just a number in a huge company, says a lot. They give you a lot of the tools you need to be successful. So many people are willing to be used as resources for you to lean on to help accomplish a task. Also, very transparent company. Many times, the CEO and CRO have given us insight to the company that I wouldn't have even thought to ask but appreciate nonetheless.

Cons

With it being a start up, there's not a lot of hand holding. You definitely have to be the type to figure it out along the way. It seems as if they're looking more for sales professionals who want to sell in our industry, instead of having a training curriculum that you can take anywhere. Basically, they want rock stars that can just plug-and-play. Which is not a bad thing but definitely leaves people who need a little more coaching/encouragement in the cold.
