Pros

It was good company to work for before being acquired by RB which now control the monopoly of used equipment Auctions . Anyone one their way becomes theirs later on.

Cons

Ip was acquired by RB under the slogan "Together is Better" the staff & managers felt like being stabbed at the back after years of hard work and commitment, competing against RB. Staff & managers found themselves in hand of RB that god rid of them one by one later on, especially those who have been approached in the past individually by RB to work for them & refused. The strategy of joining RB was a cover up so that the process of the deal would be approved by the US government. The CEO was hanging out for sometime before making his smooth gateway to enjoy his $758 million deal with his shareholders & family members who followed later on. HR Management were never there for employees. They say I'm on your side but hide and bring someone else to do the dirty job. Many got promoted before the take over for their nice work licking bosses shoes and still there doing great job because they have no-place to go.

Pros

The Fort Worth office is one of a kind! The culture is amazing, and the people are great - everyone from the temps to Sr. Management to the Executives. Even the HR team does a great job, and everyone is always willing to help out another team member if needed. This office breeds workers, so be prepared to work hard, but you will reap the benefits. I suggest trying to get in with the GovPlanet team or Inspection Services as those department are growing rapidly, and have an extremely helpful management team. The team morale is unbelievable! There are very few cliques, and little office drama gossip compared to most companies.

Cons

Little to no training in every department (which weeds out the weak, so not sure if that is a con), The interview process can be excruciating as it can be hours long depending on the job you are applying for. Finally, there's too much free food! Not good to have a desk job and eat all day long!

Pros

When I started out in the Pleasanton office 8 years ago it was a close-knit group of employees who genuinely cared about the welfare of the company. During the recession, corners were cute, desperate attempts to stay relevant in the market place were tried with disastrous results, and a loss of identity occurred. The company never rebounded after this. Raises were frozen unless you repeatedly pushed for fair wage. Gone were the days of praising employees for their work, and an atmosphere of “clearing your desk” regardless if the work is done correctly or not took over.

Cons

-Across the board breakdowns in communication from management and general staff -Very low pay compared to job market -Lack of pride and responsibility in work -Huge "brain drain" as long-term employees jump ship in droves
