Pros
Issuetrak is a progressive work environment in terms of culture, innovation, and general development practices (all of which have undergone very positive and productive changes in the last year). We have a nice balance of male and female leaders, especially for a medium-sized technology company (2 female directors, 1 female Support manager, and 1 recently promoted female manager in Development). Dan Luhring, the CEO, is energetic and has a lot of vision. It's clear he cares very much about developing the best application we're capable of developing. And, overall, he seems concerned about recognizing and rewarding the team. Finally, there seems to be opportunities for both vertical and lateral movement within the company depending on how driven an employee is.
Cons
There have been some staff changes over the past year that could be interpreted as negative. However, these changes have ultimately been for the best with regard to moving the company and individual departments forward, not to mention improving morale in many cases. Having slightly more flexible options regarding work schedules would be nice, but I think management is working toward this (definitely already have flexibility regarding leave, sick days, vacation, etc.).
