Storm chasers, plenty travel, poor management and HR team, no team atmosphere, bonus structure is a joke, constantly purchasing smaller companies so ability to move up in the company is almost non-existent, etc

As we continue to grow and bring on more acquisitions, we can open more opportunities for our employees to grow with J.S. Held. Along with the growing opportunities for our consultants, we have also continued to grow our in office departments, including HR.
Was hybrid with 1-day in office. Office was really nice. They provided free food.
Cons
Micro-managing like no other. Impossible to understand assignments and or be on the same page as supervisor. EVERYONE is related to each other in one way or another. Normally this would not be an issue, but there is no upwards progression unless you were a family or family-adjacent. Necessary processes for bonus eligibility, such as performance reviews, were inconsistent, unclear, and sloppy. Awful work life balance and your managers ensure to pass off their bad mood to you. The worst communication practices. Job role and duties are completely unusable if you are attempting to move out of Forensic Economics. Their HR is despicable and not there to help their employees.
