During my time of employment at JLR I felt the company held a great family ethos, an employer that looks after its people.
Cons
Due to the sheer size of the business, it is pandemic in operating within silos. Not every area followed the same employee ethos, unfortunately for the pre production prototype area the management were archaic, each management level had an employee who had been in the company for a substantial amount of time. Throughout the time I worked there, the job security for all was extremely fragile, communication was poor in understanding where the certainty of all roles, with a feeling of looking over your shoulder with regards to redundancy.
