Pros
I think this is a really great first internship. They expect a lot but they're always willing to help and there's never any backlash when you don't get things on the first try. They're really nice and always open to meeting with you. They're very flexible with your schedule. You'll definitely meet people in the local community which is great for someone like me who tends to be more reserved and even better if you're a social butterfly.
This really is one of those "The more you put in, the more you get out" types of internships.
Cons
JV does a lot of things (music, wellness, lifestyle) and this position is definitely more focused on lifestyle. You won't be working on anything music related really but you'll still learn a lot and gain office skills. (I did attend one music event but the majority of my work did not involve music at all. I'm not sure if this is a con but I just want people to know what to expect.)
There's really no other cons, in my opinion. (Except not being paid but that's to be expected)
