Pros
My mentor was the best part of my experience there. Nice severance.
Cons
I should've known from the lack diversity on my teams what I was in for. Another glaring red flag was the two connections I knew quit THE WEEK I STARTED. During the interview process, I asked what the onboarding process looked like and they claimed to be flexible. But when it came down to it, some members simply weren't good at communicating needs and yet they still expected you to "catch on". I had a really hard time adjusting and felt really alone, especially since we were working from home and I had no rapport with anyone. They let me go (after the most strenuous interview process ever). And the worst part is, it was due to a client I didn't even initially interview for. Keep in mind that salary was under the market average and they settled at $5K under what I asked. I honestly think I just wasn't JS material. I went on to immediately find a job that checked off every box I had and affirmed me that after that whirlwind experience, I wasn't crazy.
