You get thrown into projects without having a lead walk you through steps. You literally learn on the fly.

JCA provides the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of non-profit technology experts. Projects are interesting and innovative, and coworkers really work together to perform across departments. Because JCA pulls consultants from across the country, we get to live and work where we want to as opposed to clocking in to an office. This is a great benefit and allows me to balance my family life with my passion for my job.

Because we are all over the country, you don't always "see" your coworkers often. Communication skills constantly have to be honed and perfected.
