      Pros

      This small business really shows they care about each employee. The emphasis is put on the quality, not the quantity of your work. Everyone in the office is very supportive and is always willing to help. In times of high workload, you will still always find someone to answer your questions and help out. On top of all this, the Jaffe & Co team will put you first and never ask you to take work home with you.

      Cons

      Due to the nature of the job, useful KPIs are hard to come up with, and it is sometimes difficult to receive feedback on your overall performance. To compensate for this, monthly meetings are arranged with your manager where you can discuss how the month has been.

      Pros

      Work-life balance is second to none, the boss is one of the most generous persons I know and his commitment to excellence guides the team by example. Salaries are higher than at competitors, and the team’s efficiency is unparalleled. Everybody is incredibly serious about their work, and fun and laid back during team outings. The firm is inclusive, offers opportunities to grow, and has a great reward system in place. Hard work is recognised and the atmosphere is very collaborative. I have been working here for 13 years and that speaks for itself.

      Pros

      Has a clear focus on providing responsive high-quality service. Staff work as a team and support each other, from the top down. Yes we are expected to work hard with commitment but as a result it is rarely necessary to work long hours. Trainee joiners can expect quick exposure to interesting work and career progression.

      Cons

      Possibly not the firm for you if you only enjoy providing advice work rather than tax returns.
