Pros

Made some good friends, there are a lot of people working way too hard.

Cons

Abusive and under-qualified management, chaotic and inefficient workflows, severe lack of resources and enrichment for employees. This company views employees as replaceable and does not value anyone. Jazwares cannot keep departments staffed as their salaries and benefits are not competitive. This means everyone has to work overtime, there are always excuses for why things aren't done, and deadlines are constantly missed. Raises and bonuses are a joke. Nepotism is rampant. I regret wasting my time and skills working for this company. Any time prospective employees contact me to ask my opinion about the company, I tell them DON'T DO IT!

Jazwares Response

We appreciate your feedback and are saddened that your experience with our company is not a favorable one. Jazwares has been growing exponentially, and there are departments that have been understaffed at times as we work to add new team members to support our growth. We are happy to report that many new positions have been added over the last 12 months, and we have created a new onboarding process for new Jazmanians so that their experience is a positive one. We have also dedicated resources to continually improve processes so that we are working more efficiently as we continue to grow. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns directly, please contact Human Resources.

Pros

They pay for your insureance.

Cons

I would strongly caution anyone considering a role at Jazwares. My experience was defined by minimal onboarding and virtually no structured training, combined with very high expectations from day one. Employees are often expected to deliver at a high level without the tools or guidance needed to succeed, which leads to burnout. There is a heavy culture of micromanagement, with limited trust in employees and very little autonomy. At the same time, leadership appears to operate within a tight inner circle, where favoritism influences decision-making and accountability is inconsistent. Workloads can be excessive, and expectations are often unrealistic given the level of support provided. This creates a stressful environment where employees are set up to struggle rather than succeed. Concerns around fairness and how individuals are treated did not feel transparently handled. HR did not come across as a neutral or supportive resource, but instead seemed aligned with protecting leadership. The company promotes a “happy” and positive work culture externally, but that image does not consistently match the internal experience. Long hours, high pressure, and lack of support make this a difficult place to thrive.
