The upper level management does not care about employees, their career growth or even paying them fairly for all the hard work they put in. Hardly any appreciation either. The saddest thing is that if somebody does care, they either are asked to leave or keep their mouths shut. The reason for leaving this job was simply the dishonesty amongst upper level management that spreads downhill and affects an employee’s performance negatively. For the so called office culture, keeping a fridge full of snacks and washroom full of paper is not great office culture. Oh, and the management’s ideology, that comes from the pre-historic era. Micro-managers, keeping things hidden, office whispering (which is a part of great office culture apparently), an employee can take only so much without fair pay.
Management prides itself on it's culture, yet it's rotten to the core. Favorites get all the glory, those that truly deserve it are left asking why.
