Pros

Good place to work. Your well taken care of through hard work and bonuses. There are lots of extra activities offered.

Cons

The managers out in the field travel too much. More are needed to cover large distances.

Pros

You work independently of management, which is fantastic because they're generally really unpleasant, with the exception of those supervisors who are not relatives of the company owner/upper management. It's that kind of company and if you know, you know. You will also travel a lot, which can be appealing unless you have a family that you're leaving behind to do so.

Cons

Salary with work weeks that consistently exceed 40 hours. Hours beyond 40 are paid as straight time. It was explained to me that if worked 55 hours in a week, I would be paid for 6 days. This turned out to not be the case and, over the course of two years, I had to argue with management to be paid correctly multiple times. The work I was doing was stipulated to be completed overnight. This is a major issue because, when lodging at hotels which have a standard checkout time of 11:00, it becomes impossible to get an 8 hour sleep period after working 12-15 hours. Commercial operation of a motor vehicle following a 15 hour shift and a 4 or 6 hour sleep period violates DOT regulation. Management was pretty laissez faire about it.
