Pros
From the tech side, the company is divided into two teams, one collects / analyzes / exposes analytics while the other works on the platform clients use to interact with and view their data.
The analytics team is led by a highly knowledgeable developer who has a wide array of tools in his skill set. Working alongside him has allowed me to grow exponentially, learning a variety of new skills and improving my analytical thought process / problem solving ability. The problems that are being solved by the company are complex and highly enjoyable to work on. We use bleeding edge technology that is exciting to learn.
From the higher level, the CEO / CPO are both great. They are always open to talk and never turn away an employee who has concerns. They provide transparency about the state of the company through weekly lunches. During the lunches, information about clients, potential clients and other company related information is discussed.
Overall, my experience within the company has been highly positive. I have met a lot of great people and have been able to work on a lot of interesting problems. The company always has your personal growth in mind when assigning tasks and that is highly appreciated.
Cons
Difference in work ethic between team members (some play games in the office while others are working which can be frustrating).
