Pros
I joined the team earlier this year, and it's a great time to start my Joveo journey. It's an exciting time as the technology keeps on improving, and we keep winning some fantastic clients. The company are pulling together in the same direction. There is a great togetherness in the company, especially from my perspective in the UK team - we have a real start-up vibe despite having to work from home during the lockdown. It's not a micro-management style. The Company trust its employees to get the job done. They give you the flexibility to work from where, how and when you want. There is a lot of work to do, so it's not easy. But it will apparel to those who want to work in a fast-paced environment and are not shy to ask, learn for themselves, and take responsibility and care for their contribution. The leadership team, above all, are good people.
Cons
Going from a start-up to a scale-up does pose its issues. Growing pains if you like. Joveo has had to adapt to growing fast across multiple countries and the shift to work from home. The internal processes since when I started, to now, have improved dramatically and have made life easier to communicate across the company.
