Pros

Great team members, extremely fulfilling, I feel that most workers truly care about what they're doing, I've learned a lot and grown as a person because of my experiences.

Cons

Management is very corporate and clearly prioritizes money over helping their clients. Very poor communication between higher-ups and BTs (this does not include the BCBAs we work with, they are almost always extremely helpful , supportive, and communicative). Pay varies greatly and it's obvious they can and will underpay you if they can get away with it. Not nearly enough training for new employees which creates an environment rife with potential trauma and negative side effects for the clients because their therapy is not implemented correctly/consistently. They are willing to hire anyone because the pay is low so they can't ask a lot of their workers which causes ethical concerns. I have witnessed some unethical practices/programs made by our BCBAs but most are open to feedback. Most. The job is fulfilling but extremely mentally, physically, and emotionally draining. We, as the people on the ground floor actually implementing the services, are not paid nearly enough for what we go through. If I didn't love my job as much as I do, I would have left once I realized how difficult the job actually is.
