Linear progression with an exec who are unsupportive and show no loyalty or empathy. Interim ceo who doesn’t understand the importance of team building or interaction who comes across as cold and uncomfortable. Little recognition or support for long standing employees and a wave of exits from those long standing employees says it all. An acknowledgment of ‘deadwood’ who are moved and promoted whilst other respected employees are fleeing. Company lost its way when the CEO took a health break and the independence and credibility it had been working so hard for for so many years to be recognised as a different organisation to that of Innovate UK was overnight quashed without much warning or consultation with staff. Numerous long (and expensive) re branding exercises were a clear waste of time and money. It appears that it is slowly become the events and knowledge sharing arm of its funder and the ‘KTN’ will soon disappear.
