      I get some sort of pay check weekly

      Cons

      Having to work in deplorable weather conditions...when office is closed due to weather conditions, employees are forced to go no-pay or use vacation hours, sick hours do not exist, terrible wages

      No micromanagement, great pay when economy is good

      Cons

      a bit of a siloed culture between departments, can take a long time to get paid on certain projects (up to 6 months or potentially longer), no base pay during lean times
