Pros

You get a mac book

Cons

Leaving a review here as things have gone badly down hill for some time. Our claim is that we are an autonomous control platform, but the platform is constantly down. There are no meaningful apps, just the platform. So the expectation is that customers build their own apps. What??? There is really only one customer, everyone else who gets the pitch realizes they can build the platform internally or just go with another company that provides both the apps and the platform. Because there is only one customer, everyone is expected to bend over backwards to accommodate, weekend and late night meetings are often. Then comes the ceo, when he visits here in portugal he comes on hard, very few female employees are left. Coworkers are often let go for no reason. Honestly, I have lost count. The truth is this is a really poor place to work and it’s run by a bunch of overbearing want to be frat boys.

Cons

The previous review has inspired me to write one as well. Let me highlight a few points so you don’t set your career back working here. It is generally accepted within the tech industry that you receive all your shares if you are let go without cause (effectively a cliff vest). Here, however, in your employment contract will be a clause which states that you do not receive any shares unless you are with the company for minimum one year (again, if you are let go without cause that is not up to you!). That means, at any point, the company can claim “restructuring” where you are the only person affected. Even if you are 11 months and 29 days in, you will not receive any of your shares. I will also point out that the meetings here are extremely toxic, just folks hurling manure at each other for an hour; attrition understandably is remarkably high. Finally, the ceo is extremely vindictive and quite hands-on.
