Working on-site for a large client offers strong exposure to a professional corporate environment. The role is varied and engaging, combining office coordination, facilities management, event support, and sustainability initiatives. You get to interact daily with people across different departments and levels of seniority, which helps develop both communication and problem-solving skills. The position allows for independence and a good sense of ownership over daily operations.

As an employee of a third-party company, you often face the challenges of being fully integrated into a client’s environment while not having the same benefits, recognition, or growth opportunities as direct staff. Career progression can feel limited, and workload expectations sometimes exceed what’s outlined in the job description. Communication between the contracting and client companies can be inconsistent, which occasionally leads to confusion or duplicated effort.

The nice people I met through this contractor

Everything else. I have never in my life worked for such incompetent, careless people. They only care for themselves and couldn’t be bothered with what happens to their employees. They play dirty to cover their own backs. I was surprised because I never thought a business/company could be this blatantly terrible! You’re not allowed to stick up for yourself or call them out on their outrageous ways. They railroad you afterwards. They took over from another company who was handling my workplace and everything went downhill from there. They care about lining their pockets and want pets , not respectable staff, who will ask “how high” when they say “jump”. This is also not the first time I’ve heard and read such comments about them. I’m happy to have moved on from their toxic environment. I would not recommend working for Keyguard security if you’re looking for a workplace with respect and actual values. They do not care. No perks for staff. I had to beg to be paid for bank holidays and time off. I was dragged into a meeting for having two sick days! And the lady tried to lie and say I had more! She wasn’t aware that I had screenshot every single one of my timesheets. Not even so much as an apology after I corrected her and provided proof. They do not go that extra mile for their staff. They quite literally do not care. No opportunity to progress. You’re there to be used as they want, then tossed when they’re sick of you or when you refuse to let them bully you.
