Pros

• Solid technical team — smart, skilled, and worth learning from. • If you’re early in your career, you might gain resilience by surviving here. • Some exposure to international markets and digital advertising dynamics.

Cons

• Toxic startup culture masked as “fun” — heavy weekday drinking, out-of-control parties, and questionable tolerance for certain behaviors from leadership. • Leadership lacks emotional intelligence and often makes decisions based on gut feeling, not data — despite claiming otherwise. • Middle managers are chosen for loyalty to the C-suite, not competence. • Questionable ethics in client strategy and business models — you’ll likely witness or be asked to support practices that feel uncomfortable. • No clear career path. Juniors are overworked and underpaid, while others earn 4–5x more for similar work. • High turnover, constant internal reshuffling, and a lack of transparency in company goals. • Long, unsustainable working hours with little recognition or support.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that this was your experience. Even if it doesn’t reflect the culture we work hard to build, we take every constructive criticism seriously. At our core, we believe in a laid-back, collaborative environment where people feel free to be themselves and grow. We do promote from within, and while loyalty and alignment with our values matter, those steps are never taken without merit and proven capability. Some of the points you’ve raised don’t align with how we operate or what we encourage internally, and they don’t reflect the experience of most of our current or former team members. That said, if you feel comfortable, we’d genuinely appreciate hearing more. Feel free to reach out to us at pr@kimiagroup.com. Once again, we’re proud of the team we’re building, and we’ll keep striving to make this a place where people can do great work, feel supported, and grow. Thanks again, Kimia Team
