Pros

The first thing I immediately noticed when I joined almost a year ago was the level of expertise and depth of technical knowledge of everyone in the company. I am constantly learning something new every single day by working with some of the smartest engineers I have worked with in my 20-year career in technology. Having come from a long career in consumer web products, it has been refreshing to work on core technology powering the enterprise and working with data and performance at scale. A recent solid round of funding has given the company the ability to scale quickly and enter many new markets while being able to grow engineering to achieve some amazing milestones in the product. Work-life balance and flexibility is also a plus. Leads understand work doesn't always need to happen between fixed hours of the day. Team members respect and appreciate each other enough that everyone will get the job done in a timely, professional, and performant manner. Culture of open communication and candor with understanding that we work as a team and any individual improvements contributes to more successful team. We are constantly innovating and solving fun and challenging problems.

Cons

Just going through typical challenges of scaling, growing, and maturing from startup to a high performance organization. Slowly hiring key roles needed for growing teams and putting in place necessary processes and methodology so things are getting better every day.
