Pros
Having spent more than a decade at Kinsley Power Systems, I can say with confidence that it is a rare find in today’s professional landscape. Like any organization, Kinsley has its share of challenges. It isn't a perfect utopia, but the quality of the people and the level of company support more than outweigh any downsides. What truly sets Kinsley apart is its family-focused culture, specifically seen in their embrace of a flexible work schedule. By allowing a healthy mix of working from home and the office, Kinsley provides the balance necessary to actually show up for your family, not just provide for them. The most rewarding part of my tenure has been the positive relationships I’ve formed. There is a genuine sense of shared purpose here; you aren't just a number or a footnote on quarterly results—you’re a human being with shared goals. Kinsley feels like the type of company that used to be common but is increasingly difficult to find—a place where loyalty is a two-way street. Thanks to this grounded environment and their respect for my life outside of work, I fully intend to remain with the company for the remainder of my career.
Cons
As a smaller, private company, there are fewer career growth opportunities than one might find at a large, publicly traded company. However, with the amazing growth the company has seen each year, more opportunities are arising all the time.
