Pros

Only good in this company is Food and accommodation,

Cons

This company owner, Mr. Sabu M. Jacob, seems to focus mainly on his political party, “Twenty20.” As a result, the company is largely run by his employees — and you can imagine the kind of politically charged environment that creates. The workplace is filled with internal politics at every level. If you’re someone who values personal time, Kitex is definitely not the place for you. The company does not observe any public holidays except Easter, Onam, and Christmas. No other holidays are recognized. Mobile phones are strictly prohibited inside the premises — employees must hand them over to security before entering. This means you’re completely cut off from the outside world during working hours. And if you think you can use your phone during the lunch break, here’s the catch: the lunch break lasts only 15 to 20 minutes. There are no real learning opportunities here either. Even worse, the company does not issue experience certificates unless you complete at least three years of service. What kind of rule is that? It’s completely unreasonable. Adding to all this, there’s clear gender-based discrimination. Male employees are required to wear full formal attire and are discouraged from talking or socializing with colleagues, while female employees face no such restrictions. They can wear casual or semi-formal clothing without issue. Such partiality makes the work environment even more frustrating. Unfortunately, many Kerala-based companies follow such outdated and unfair practices — and Kitex seems to be one of them.
