Pros
The scheduling is the same every week so you always know when you are working and they are usually accommodating if you need time off. Full Time employees are eligible for health benefits and accrue vacation time that never expires. Both managers and fellow associates are friendly and welcoming, there is no competitive atmosphere. If you work hard it will be noticed and acknowledged/rewarded. I feel great knowing that the company I work for contributes back to the community by donating to land conservation and helping other local charities. The Employee Activities Committee is always putting on some sort of event like Salad Day, Pizza Day, Barbecues, etc which is great if you love free food like I do!
Cons
The employee discount isn't great but you can usually get better deals going through the vendors themselves with a prodeal. Its a retail job so it can get a little repetitive and customers aren't always appreciative. The salary isn't great to start with but depending on performance typically there are raises and bonuses at every yearly review. The company almost always hires from within however there isn't a lot of turnover in the higher positions so job advancement is slow.
