Politics & favoritism exist. (If you don’t believe then go & talk to your employees in person, hardly few left.)

Unprofessional & UN-ethical behaviors of some are always entertained.
Interview process is not at all transparent, even after the whole interview panel rejected people get hired here because of previous links.
Management says its flexible on work hours but takes employees' personal time for granted and routinely expects late nights and weekend work. Even made to work from airport lounges.
Very little room for new comers to get the feeling that they can grow just as much as the early birds.
Quality of work is at lower priority than faster releases.
Apart from founders, Leadership team has no start-up experience. Its hard to comprehend the strategy, and product lacks some key features.
Its more about friendship than actual deliverables. They don't give any promotion or stock refresher to employees and fire people like there is no tomorrow happened both in sales and engineering. Culture is only focused on inner circle.
You'll be accepted and kept on board, but only as long as you're not perceived to be easily replaceable via much low paid contractors.
Coworkers are out for themselves and will speak negatively behind your back without hesitation. Even management bad mouths about ex-employees.
People who joined early behave as though they can do anything and everything. Be it the hiring process or internal, they form a team and move things accordingly in their favor. Play invisible games to project themselves to get more credit.
Too much of useless work. Do not hire horses for donkey work.
