The company will get the maintenance route mechanics just about anything we ask for in terms of parts and equipment.

Upper management refuses to allow the branch to have enough workers. It takes 30-45 days to get a repair crew if the work is non-billable. The branch can have as many workers as needed for billable work but when that runs out people in the billable department get laid off while there's a 30 day backlog of non-billable repairs to be done.
Also, the company expects maintenance to follow a one size fits all maintenance method that rarely applies to non-kone equipment. If I followed it then all my generators would be trash because checking brushes isn't in the plan!
