Pros
-work is fun if you are willing to learn -pay is great for work being done -company holds various events, picnics, hosts baseball game outings, golf outings, etc -hours are great if you have kids or need a flexible 5 day work week schedule -work day goes by quick when there's work to be done (which is almost always the case) -benefits are great! -opportunities are endless if you want to learn or switch departments -if you're willing to work, they're willing to give all the overtime wanted -yearly bonuses -HR is understanding and flexible when it comes to disability, life crises, or health issues
Cons
-management plays favorites, plagiarism and lying is overlooked with some employees -high turnover rate, most don't care to get to know "new" employees/coworkers because of ingrained "they-won't-be-here-long" mentality -some employees that have been there for a long time set bad example with lazy behavior, lack of respect for safety, bad/angry attitude, blatant disrespect for management, and/or being held to a separate standard -"us-vs-them" mentality with some management and supervisors -a "good ol' boy" mentality in some departments
