Good - Biorepository Technician Kryosphere Employee Review

Great work place atmosphere with no drama. Handling all different types of pharmaceuticals day to day. Kryosphere is a smaller company with lots of new project creating opportunities. Such as project managing and opportunities to climb the latter. Kryosphere provided good experience for my resume so I could further my career working in a lab/manufacturing

Some days can be very fast pace with a large work load Did not have enough staff for the size of the operation leading to a stressful work load on busy days.

There’s a 1 hour lunch break and my direct manager is kind.

Ongoing OSHA violations the owner doesn’t want to address because of cost, unqualified management, no training program, no HR for the company, blatant racism and discrimination against non-Republicans and those with disabilities. Upper management screams at people at least 3-4 times a week- CEO threatens to fire people in front of the whole company. 2 weeks of vacation that accumulates BY the END of the year in which you started. CEO tried to disguise a COLA as a raise- and stated no one will get pay increases despite performance, even if their title advances. Very unhinged. Turnover is nearly 100% of operations staff yearly. No clear vision of the future- company will most likely go under again unless bought out for a second time when other biorepositories open. Of note: CEO has been Chance White since 2016, not Doug Baker.
