The underlying philosophy of the senior management is that everybody should try their best to excel in what they're doing. You are expected to take responsibility for your work, but there is a no blame culture and everybody is willing to help each other out. You are generally encouraged to gain an insight and understanding of all the different aspects involved in growing a tech-product company. This is very different to working in your own silos as often happens in big service companies.
Finally there are no entrenched processes or systems as we continue to evolve, which offers great opportunities to everyone to contribute with fresh ideas.
Cons
Being an early stage startup we don't have the same resources like some of the big tech giants and can require more of a can-do attitude than in other places. Nevertheless we try our best to compensate for that in different ways. If you enjoy problem solving you'll thrive, if you're looking for an easy 9-5 routine, this is not the right company for you.
No pros whatsoever that I can think of as everyone including CEO trying to micromanage everyone.
Cons
-Hire and fire policy
-Ask people to shift them to another city and then fire them (this actually happened to one of my colleagues, they asked him to move from Mumbai to Bangalore, he moved to Bangalore and in less than a month they fired him giving nonsense performance issues)
-CTO doesn't take stand for him team (tech) and lacks leadership qualities in general
-CEO ask some of his inner circle employees (his ego messagers) to spy on other employees
-No workplace ethics in higher management
-No proper workplace (they work from flat)
-False promises to employees as well as customers
-CEO tries to micromanage everyone but he's good for nothing.
-All big talks from CEO while all he does is watching random videos on Facebook and YouTube and no concrete stuff
-Work culture is very bad as they expect to work 24x7
