Pros
All the employees that I met are very friendly, respectful and hard working, overall just great people to work with. I had bought some clothes to make a uniform for the Outdoor Discovery Program as I was an Instructor, I had received a discount for several sets of clothes and other items. All the equipment I had used from the company are extremely high quality and easy to use along with the teachers that helped to teach me were very helpful and friendly. Overall I have no complaints about this company or the job, as I wish I kept working with them. This would be a great job for someone not working the weekends and enjoys the outdoors and teaching others about outdoor activities. Would be a great oppertunity to try to become manager for the program or to branch into working in the retail store.
Cons
First thing is that the ODT(Outdoor Discovery Program) in the Chicago area was shutdown as it wasn't bust enough for the company, to which I agree upon as I worked almost all the shifts for the activities at the time. The job only operated on the weekends and the shifts were from 8am-1pm. This is not a great job for a full time job, not that the program even exists anymore.
