They are offering competitive salaries. Also, many business units work on interesting tech that is postured well for for future (electronic warfare, cyber weapons, etc)
Cons
Corporate communication, training and strategy portrays the picture of a well established, blue chip defense contractor, however, on the ground level, that isnt reality. Many business units have not integrated to the larger corporate processes or are lacking processes and documentation all together. Many instances of work being executed without defined processes/well formed plans. Resistance to change from legacy employees at independent business site. Questionable messages from executive management (was explicitly told you should be losing sleep if your program is in any way financially red, CAMs should be fired if they come to you with a variance of +/- 5%, etc
