Pros

Very friendly and welcoming work environment. Great team of professionals and scientists. Management is taking a good care of employees . Wide range of professional activities is taking place and lots of opportunity to improve your skills and utilize your existing knowledge and expertise.

Cons

NO cons! I worked in LACO just a few months and left because of personal reasons. LACO is growing and is getting more involved in the market.

Pros

LACO works hard to take care of their employees. They’re headed in a great direction, and it’s a great company to work for. I learned so much!

Cons

Management can be too conservative.

Pros

Overall a good, established firm with talented staff that care about their work. Plenty of opportunities for training and assistance with obtaining certifications. Wonderful co-workers. Senior professional staff are supportive and very good at what they do. Decent benefit package/perks. Flexible work schedules. Company vehicle fleet/gas card/field work PPE provided. My time at this firm was instrumental in my growth as a young professional, and I feel fortunate to have started my career with this team. Fun, fulfilling, and important work.

Cons

Based on direct comparison with peers in the industry at mid-size to large international firms, pay rates are below current market rates and inadequate for current economic conditions. Raises are outpaced by the rate of inflation, resulting in an effective pay cut on a YoY basis. Cost of living near some offices is rapidly increasing due to several factors, and the company needs to adjust if it wants to stay competitive and retain its staff.
