Pros

It looks good on your CV so getting out of there doesn't take long.

Cons

Senior management run around like headless chickens doing a whole load of nothing Pizza and alcohol on a Friday is suppose to make up for dreadful pay A LOT of sexist and racist comments from senior staff but try give off a fake 'woke' and virtue signalling vibe. Don't buy into their mantra of 'work hard and we'll reward you' because they won't. Runs a progressive mental health campaign but does not offer any support for employees with mental health issues LADbible bought out UNILAD, drained the creativity out of every talented individual and have left it to rot as a shell of it's former self. Staff morale is at an all-time low and senior management do not care. The people they left in charge at UNILAD are beyond incompetent and unfit for their role due to only receiving that level of responsibility through nepotism. They try to make up for the bad pay with quarterly bonuses, which then gives it the American tipping system feel, that you're living off your bonus.

LADbible Group Response
6y
We have carefully considered how we reward our employees and do this in a variety of ways. Regular socials are one way and are a great opportunity for everyone to get to know each other. However, we know that everyone is different and so have a wide range of options including sports teams, comedians appearing in the office and running talks with wellbeing professionals. Mental health is very important to us and so we partner closely with NABS and offer all employees access to Headspace. We have also recently introduced Mental Health First Aiders in our offices. We simply do not tolerate any discriminatory behaviour.

Pros

Great team effort with my immediate colleagues to do the best we can in a sinking ship. There are a few good eggs in the business to have banter with that make coming to the office tolerable.

Cons

Pay bracket is way below market rate, yet management are surprised when they struggle to retain/ hire staff. Toxic culture that overlooks bullying and segregation based on if you are a member of the elite social hierarchy. Misogyny is at an all time high, they may as well bring back cleavage Thursdays.
