Pros

Socials used to be fun - nights out, bowling, Christmas and summer parties Free bar in the office and snacks and breakfast foods that cover lots of different dietary needs If you’re extroverted, you’ll find friends in your coworkers Dedication to the role will be rewarded with bonuses/pay rises Gifts like homemade pizzas to your door Sympathy for time off over mental health days

Cons

Weird rivalry between London and Manchester offices Almost all of the managers are weird - too pushy, too relaxed, too out of their depth Making mandatory office days when we showed we were very capable of doing our jobs from home - unnecessary costs on top of the cost of living crisis Free bar - creates a boozy culture, if you don’t drink or you’re a more introverted person the kingfishes in the office are difficult to like Progression here is like getting blood from a stone - actually you might have more luck with the stone Constantly chasing numbers - feeling like you’re just a worker ant with next to no chances to be actually creative with what you’re filming/editing/pitching Everyone’s extremely overworked and due to this taking time off creates problems when you resume your normal pace of work Sexism and racism - “b word,” “wh word,” “c word” used in work conversations, patronising to minorities

LADbible Group Response
3y
We take all claims of this nature extremely seriously and have escalation processes, policies and procedures in place to mitigate any of this suggested conduct. We have a zero tolerance policy in relation to drugs, discriminatory and inappropriate behaviour. We believe in holding ourselves to a high standard of accountability in how we act and make decisions at work both in person and virtually and when we are representing LADbible Group outside of work. We have launched a Respect at Work policy which outlines our expectations around how employees behave. All of our employees are also undertaking training to embed and ensure understanding around expected behaviours. We have a blended approach to working in the office which we feel offers a great balance between home and office days. We work hard to ensure our offices are a great place to work. We appreciate that not everybody will have interest in utilising the bar area which provides both alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks on Thursday at 4pm and on special occasions. However, we hope that our extensive benefits package has something of interest for everyone here at LAD. LADbible Group

Pros

Great team effort with my immediate colleagues to do the best we can in a sinking ship. There are a few good eggs in the business to have banter with that make coming to the office tolerable.

Cons

Pay bracket is way below market rate, yet management are surprised when they struggle to retain/ hire staff. Toxic culture that overlooks bullying and segregation based on if you are a member of the elite social hierarchy. Misogyny is at an all time high, they may as well bring back cleavage Thursdays.
