Pros
The people you work with directly are nice. The experience is good to have for a steppingstone. Interesting concept for a privately managed roadway.
Cons
Management is terrible. Manager and supervisor will go against you if they don't like something about you or if they feel threatened by you. Benefits cost sky rocketed to double the price and triple the price in some cases. There is no room for growth you are basically stuck in the position you were hired into unless you are white. Pay raises are way below the inflation rate, it really felt like a slap in the face. They add more and more to your daily duties without a pay increase and tell you that's just the way the job description is. They expect you to revolve your plans and life outside of work around business needs. You are expected to work your scheduled shift plus mandatory overtime that doesn't add up as a benefit. There are lots of changes and little room for forgiveness on mistakes. Mistakes increase because of the workload being handed down to you and they don't hire more employees despite the increased work load and demand for attention to detail. When you make a complaint to HR or ask for guidance when you feel there are unfair conditions in the workplace they ignore you and side with management and try to brush you off until you decide to quit. After you complain or raise your concern to HR be prepared to have a target on your back and be written up for every little thing even as small as making an error on an internal email. Management is very unprofessional and untactful about how they approach situations. They will talk about you behind your back and in front of other co-workers when you are not in the room or on your day off and then be extremely fake with you when are present. The company is disliked around the Dallas and Fort Worth area. I wouldn't be surprised if the operation gets contracted out to NTTA in the future. Very high turn over and HR doesn't seem to get the point that it's management where the heart of the issue is.
