Pros
Good for management types -but not for just the normal employee who are afflicted by low pay and even lower morale.
Cons
Awful management worked on the eponymous carehome system being rolled out across the UK. Was offered the job straight away at interview and they even raised the pay by nearly 7k just to get me on board when I told them I had another position. Found out after nearly completing the development with outside contractors that I was not needed anymore. Later finding out that I was the cheap contractor that they were short of and could not afford to pay for a fully experienced contractor. Thus a week before release of the product my position was made obsolete. A totally crass and unprofessional behaviour that I have ever seen in any company that I have worked for. Asking questions and being inquisitive is frowned upon and seen as weakness and not knowing your trade, was not even given a laptop to work on and had to use a desktop when all other developers had laptops(This should have raised alarm bells by virtue of that fact ), as a tech company working from home is non existent and flexibility is also non existent, coming in early and leaving early is also non existent . Management are ready to routinely use underhanded tactics to acquire staff then offload them at a later date citing punitive excuses. Not a company anyone in their right mind would want to work for. Be warned!!
