Open, respectful, and transparent culture Everyone is dedicated to the mission of spreading the worldwide use of renewable energy This is a team of experienced, accomplished engineers building a worldwide, microservices cloud platform. This makes for quite interesting architecture and engineering work Excellent benefits (my family tested them thoroughly...) Plenty of flexibility around PTO/time and place of work Plentiful opportunities to learn new skills and deepen existing ones (there are a lot of great mentors here) A very friendly crew; fun and easy to work with!

For people who like their position's boundaries very well-defined: they won't be... adaptability and taking ownership of multiple areas is expected. Administrative/bureaucratic business systems are still being fleshed out so some processes can take a bit of patience Being in the energy industry comes with serious regulatory requirements so engineers who aren't excited about building in solid security & privacy measures may be frustrated

Awesome people excited for challenges and willing to help others Opportunities to step up and take on projects you're excited for New CEO much steadier than previous (Lawrence O. is still listed as CEO, should be William C. who took over spring 2020) Work life balance is respected

They need higher and more transparent pay scales (don't expect an automatic raise every year, or every 2 years even... startup life, negotiate hard) Scrum/Agile practices need some help
