Pros
This company is addressing its fast-paced growth with a great mindset of foundation and flexibility. It's keeping to its core values but is open-minded to pivoting its strategies and people to what's best for short- and long-term growth. I've been at companies where they resisted change and the people and processes struggled to stay competitive. When LS Direct identifies a person's strengths, they're quick to leverage them in to the right role, to not only benefit the company, but also so that person is set up for success better. However, they're also making sure to stretch that person so they don't feel stagnant and unfulfilled.
Cons
As with anything that faces fast growth, there are growing pains. That means making hard decisions with employees who are not open to the changes coming down the pipeline, so I feel there's higher employee turnover than other firms I've worked at, which is necessary for the company's future, but negatively impacts morale in that moment.
