Pros
Free Parking Free water and coffee
Cons
Bare minimum benefits - hardly competitive when compared to any progressive company. Incompetent HR department. Complete lack of training for new hires. Lack of communication between departments - additionally, a lack of SOPs. COVID: Employees were allowed to work from home, until Ohio lifted its mandatory stay at home order, after which all staff was required to report back to work - despite increasing COVID numbers and risk. Factory workers were not furloughed or allowed to stay at home, and required to report in, without temperature screenings or any PPE offered by the company. Of course, they were not compensated with hazard pay either. Additionally, amidst a financially unfavorable year, 3 rounds of 2-week furloughs, multiple lay offs, the removal of 401K matching and PTO for all employees, 5 executives were awarded $500,000 in bonuses -$200,000 of which went to the CEO Jim Clark. The executive bonuses were awarded despite the company falling $30 million short of its target sales goal. Meanwhile, no employees have received any bonuses to date.
