1.Lam takes utmost care of their employees in terms of giving leaves, covid extra leaves, package for mediclaim of 3 lacs which is over & above of 5 lacs 2. Mutual trust and respect , great culture and you will find people are practicing their all core values in daily tasks. 3. Salaries are well aligned with markets 4. Employee Education assistance program to encourage higher education while working 5. Managers are highely supportive and make sure that their team members are feeling motivated and get on time guidance.6. Benifits apart from salary like fitmnet allowance where you can go to gym and claim some amount which is unique , Employee can buy company stocks @discounted rate , Life insurance will be 3 times ctc and 2 times ctc for disability etc.

Cons

Less opportunity on visiting the manufacturing sites which may be due to covid but this is very much required in future.

Heavy micromanagement — frequent revisions on ppt to minor details like font size and colors. Frequently calling staffs even after work hours and lunch time. Manager often takes on additional work from other teams without considering current team workload, So the manager appears supportive and “nice” externally but creates additional burden to the subordinates. Manager controls team budget strictly for team-building activities (events and meals), team members feel restrictive and reluctant to participate, for example team members dare not order appetizers, dessert or drinks on top of entrees during team events. Manager used up most of the travel budget. Biz trip and personal travel boundaries are unclear, especially when manager frequently has business trips overlaps with personal travel. Seems like manager using biz trip to get free hotel and free air tickets for PTO.
