Pros

There were many opportunities to connect with the other interns. I also had a very encouraging and bright mentor, who was there every step of the way during my journey here. I was able to work on my own project from the ground up and it was challenging, yet very satisfying and exciting. I would definitely recommend during an internship here. The workplace culture was fun and family-oriented.

Cons

The only downside was working with a manager (I worked with two) who seemed a bit off-putting and impersonal, making it a bit more difficult to work under them. They were very professional and uptight, where they were not looking to create any kind of relationship besides a strict professional one. Yet she was an anomaly because everyone else was quite the opposite.

Pros

Strong 401(k) benefits. Most individual contributors and coworkers are collaborative, professional, and enjoyable to work with. Well-known brands with opportunities to gain experience in a fast-paced CPG environment.

Cons

Roles can be very different from how they are presented during the hiring process, especially for positions advertised as strategic or development-focused. Heavy emphasis on manual reporting, data pulling, and reactive analytics work with limited support or streamlined systems. Workplace culture can feel overly political and clique-driven at times, with some teams operating in silos instead of collaboratively. There can be a defensive mindset where employees protect territory rather than share knowledge or work cross-functionally, which can make collaboration difficult. Career growth and role clarity can feel inconsistent depending on department and leadership structure. Employees’ strengths are not always utilized effectively, leading to frustration and burnout in some roles.
