Pros
It is a good idea, and has the potential to be a good product. That is it.
Cons
Lantum is a prime example of how having a great business idea does not necessarily mean you’re the right person to run it. The company is hampered by poor leadership, chronic disorganisation, an alarmingly high turnover rate for its size, and a toxic culture that breeds favouritism and favoured employees who become blind to the business’s shortcomings. The CEO’s obsession with driving results, and the lack of skill and finesse in being able to effectively execute it, often comes at the expense of people. Her and her close circle appear uninterested in alternative perspectives or constructive challenges. Leadership quality is unfortunately lacking at all levels, largely because the business has no focus on leadership development or coaching. Any people growth tends to happen through a "sink or swim" approach rather than deliberate development, unless it is being led by externally brought-in talent - external talent which soon quietly exits. This is further compounded by the absence of a cohesive People strategy, a so-called "performance culture" that leans heavily towards toxicity, and the revolving door of senior roles.
