Pros

I learned how to use technology that was relevant 30 years ago.

Cons

Horribly unprofessional. Deductions were taken from paycheck, but weren't dispursed to where they were supposed to be. Management is good technically, but pushes blame to either co-workers or customers. No clear path established for anything, direction the company is going, how to progress, everyone is just stumbling along , day by day. Sales is non existent. 1 sale in the 2 years I was here.

In some cases, Lascom adapts the working conditions in home / remote office to help. It adds administrative complexity to the administration. Since then, Lascom has strengthen the management team in the US to avoid such problems.

Pros

Please, I rarely leave comments on third party website, even to complain. But I repeat, RUN, stay far away from this company. The only positive point is working with different industries so it is interesting to see various aspects. That's it.

Cons

Horrible management team, always put the blame on others. They do not take ownership of THEIR mistakes. No clear business plan, always changes at the last minute and then do not commit to actually implement the plans. Very slow to take any business decisions. No consideration for your work. Big ego problems there. Most of the management are often disrespectful with workers and do not seem to notice it. Please, do NOT accept a job here, they will break you mentally. They will lie to you as long as they can get what they want from you.

We are sorry to have such feedbacks. It does not reflect our values, based on the well-being of each employee. Trust and flexibility are at the core of Lascom's HR management, emphasizing internal promotion and integrating the home / remote office into HR policy. As a result, the average seniority of employees is 7 years.

Pros

Lascom's clients come from different food industries. Therefore, the requirements can be drastically different from client to client. An engineer with get to learn different food production methods while building the ERP systems.

Cons

Really outdated technology but the management and engineering leads are not open for transitioning to newer technology and methodologies. Really understaffed and the amount of work is tremendous. Engineers are often not meeting the deadlines. Software quality if absent and the company does not hire quality engineers.

Lascom R and D started a “Convergence” project to re-architecture the software in 2017 and transition to new technologies. This major 2,5 years investment led to a complete new offer in 2019: Lascom LIME. Lascom continues to invest in new functionalities to project to the future.
