Pros

If you strive on being fake and are onboard to lie to “clients” about the company’s “capabilities” that they are unable to ever actually deliver on… if you love chaos and pushing AI falsely… if you are dying to join a compete hot mess of a company that overly complicates the sales process and has zero ability to be a moral, respectable, and honest company to employees and to clients - this is the place for you!

Cons

One thing I have learned is that Glassdoor reviews and feedback on a company NEVER lie! I highly encourage everyone considering working at Launch to pay attention to how low Launch’s Glassdoor score is and has been for years and not waste your time. Life is to short! The turnover at this place is astronomical as is the number of long timers resigning on their own every other day. The SLT is 90% new as of the last few months, all who have proven to only care about ensuring they are paid each payday while kissing each others bottoms. They alap overly promise and severely under delive to those who are actually securing biz for the company. When ALL of the good coworkers have left and continue to leave consistently for years, especially recently, plus the unjust terminations happening left and right across all levels/roles at Lauch with zero warnings, PIPS, etc… major red flags! Please run. Launch leadership and the company’s messaging is very consistent at over promising to “clients” while rarely ever securing any new consulting biz at the end of the day. It’s embarrassing - if your in sales at this company you do not feel confident or willing to put your neck on the line with clients/new biz because 9 times out of 10 Launch never wins. It’s a joke. Also, 90% of Launch’s portfolio is STAFFING and has absolutely zero AI projects underway - certain sales “managers” even tell their AE teams that on the low low their book of Biz is 💯 staffing/staff aug!! It’s honestly kind of funny - the consulting/project solutions sales facade they are trying to to push is a joke as is the AI stuff. With several rfp/rfi opportunities with clients on the table, I have seen maybe 1-2 tops on deals that were won by Launch. The feedback was always that the studios teams were not technical enough to make the client feel confident Lauch would be the right partner and work spending their budget on. More red flags! If you were someone brought over with the many acquisitions including level 11, strive, rockster, etc - you are generally “safe”. Otherwise you are there to use mostly for your hard earned client relationships built at companies prior to joining Launch, and then you will be let go once they have given some leads. They are a DESPERATE company that is a total mess in all aspects. The morale is so low and those who have hung on to their jobs over the last 3 years are not friendly to newcomers whatsoever - probably rightfully so considering all they have seen happen/been through. Finally - most of all of the client logos they share on their website, marketing efforts etc, are not current clients and haven’t been active clients since 2014 and prior. The MSA’s are long time dead and due to the constant turnover of sales folks assigned to these clients who try to revive the business, all of the clients for the most part have stopped responding to any outreach efforts 💯. No client company in this day of age has the time, patience, or need to have to deal with/work with a flaky consulting firm when there are so many other firms that can actually deliver and nurture client relationships. The turnover is NUTS on the Account Executive team - nobody ever has a chance to build any relationships with clients at this place. If I could highlight and bold this part of my review I would do so. Can’t stress it enough! In summary - I wouldn’t recommend even my worst enemies to work at this place!! I guess if you are a “good ol boy” that has some weird relationship/connection with someone who has seemed to survive somehow - then you will be great! But if you actually love what you do and want to work for company who sets you up for success, communicates, is honest with employees and clients, and values their employees??? You will be miserable here. I bet my life on it.

Pros

If you want to use and learn AI every single day, not just talk about it, this is the best opportunity I've seen. AI tooling is embedded in how we deliver, sell, and operate internally, from agentic platforms for clients to AI assistants in our own workflows. You learn by doing, on real client problems, with top-tier technology partners in the mix. The new leadership team, many with a legacy at Maven Wave Partners, brings a proven playbook for building a premium, partner-led consulting firm, and you can feel the difference in how the firm operates. The strategy has sharpened around AI transformation and it finally feels coherent. Talented, collaborative people who genuinely want to build something.

Cons

There has been significant leadership turnover and several shifts in strategy over the past 12 months, and that created real whiplash for teams. The bigger ongoing friction is the legacy mindset of The Planet Group, the parent company, which still operates more like a staffing business than a consulting firm. That shows up in places like investment decisions, back-office processes, and how growth is measured, and it can slow down the transformation the new leadership is driving.

Pros

Decent salary, they were able to find me two alternative jobs to move to once I was laid off due to client budget cuts to the project.

Cons

Minimal national holidays recognized, no raise or inflation adjustment in over 2 years. No bonus, no annual evals, expensive health insurance.
