Pros

1. Learning what not to do if you ever manage people 2. Polishing survival instincts

Cons

1. Leadership’s motto might as well be “Do it fast, do it slow, do it again, do it differently - oh no we're delayed and by the way, it’s your fault.” 2. Management don't remember their own decisions. People are left defending yesterday’s orders against today’s denials. 3. Contradictory directions are given back-to-back, sometimes in the same meeting. 4. Accountability doesn’t exist at the top, only gaslighting below. 5. Feedback comes in the form of public insults about intelligence or professionalism. 6. HR’s function is protecting leadership egos, not employees. 7. Constant chaos leaves employees in a permanent state of burnout, while management congratulates themselves for being 'agile'.

Pros

The working environment at LawAdvisor is truly excellent, characterized by a vibrant atmosphere and a team of supportive and energetic employees. The mentorship provided here is top-notch and greatly contributes to personal and professional growth. One outstanding aspect of this internship is the immense opportunities it offers for development. As an intern, I had the chance to engage in a wide range of tasks, extending beyond my own field of expertise. This diverse exposure expanded my knowledge and broadened my skill set, making it a truly enriching experience!

Cons

Nothing in particular. I enjoyed my time there.

Pros

Wow, what an amazing company with such an inspiring vision and a truly incredible team! I feel so lucky to have worked alongside some of the most dedicated, hardworking, and entrepreneurial people I’ve ever met. I had the chance to work under a marketing lead who really understood the team’s goals and always knew how to guide me in the right direction. And honestly, ignore the negative reviews; the CEO is driven, kind, and full of exciting ideas, but also extremely fair. In a fast-moving startup, you’re expected to pull your weight, and that’s just part of the environment. During my time there, I learned so much, from helping prep for an exciting new product launch to building real hands-on marketing skills, all while getting amazing guidance along the way. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to break into the legal sector or startup world. Plus, you get to hang out with Miyagi, the office Frenchie... Also an amazing office space!

Cons

nothing negative minus the upstairs heat
