Pros

Great experience building in multiple aerospace processing and testing areas. Pretty hard to get fired unless you wind up on the (crap) list (see cons). Untested self-pay insurance.

Cons

Upper management does not have a regular system in place to rate employees and offer improvement. Workers that are sub par are singled out and put on a sort of "double secret probation". That is until they make a mistake and are kicked out the door. The worker usually never knows that he is on the (crap) list until it is too late. Pay is far below industry average for experienced positions. No regular pay increases or pay structure. Raises are given at owners whim. Owner rants and rages through shop. Governs through fear. Morale is very low. Many great workers are seemingly stuck in this dead end and not appreciated.

Pros

Fair amount of holidays. 3 weeks vacation after 5 years. If you do your job and don't (complain like a female dog) too much it's not such a bad place to work. If you have a fair amount of people skills you will know when your on the crap list.

Cons

Very hard to get in the inner circle, unless your a stool pigeon. Too many people always looking to find fault with something or someone. The people who know how to do the job right and just don't, or are too lazy, are the most annoying. A lot of "That's not my job" attitude.

Pros

Very good experience knowing aerospace processing and testing areas. Most of co-workers are great.

Cons

It is a lot to write: 1- paranoid bosses, they come early to check the 123 video cameras to know who was working the evening and night before, and who did seat o walk. 2- like a comment someone did before, hard to get to a preferred inner circle where they go out to smoke and to look who to blame for a mistake. 3- A lot of lazy workers and bosses overlook this and push harder the ones work hard and are loyal to the company. 4- Low morale, OT is giving mostly to the people in the inner circle. Many workers that have a lot of " that is not my job" attitude. 5- Except one person, "upper management" doesn't have a clue how to train new people, nor a system. I asked once about SOP's for departments to read and have better idea, I was told that they have it but, never sew it or giving to me. 6- Some "big bosses" treat employees like children, with screams and repetitive one word sentence, do not have people skills at all. 7- Lots of cat calling to female employees, especially for the way they dressed.
